The one contains the many, says Thich Nhat Hanh. If we are aware of the truth of one flower, we are aware of everything and the interconnectedness between everything.
Once we accept reality as mind based, fast progress is possible.
Ordinary mind is quite deluded, and to get rid of this deludedness is not an easy task. But it is easier than to change things with force. Mind reacts to information.
The more individuals who dissolve the deludedness in their mind, the more will follow. There is an attraction in truth and light.
There is also a sort of attraction for mind in the habitual and in things we learned long ago. So there is a conserving tendency. We should not accept everything just because it is new.
One obstacle is our own feelings. Spontaneously our feelings might relate to irrelevant factors, and thus react negatively to the positive.
Mind in the present stage of human development is a jungle, and we should avoid making it more impenetrable by communicating in a bad way.

A piece of cake 2
The problem is deludedness. If anyone is unhappy, it depends on deludedness. That person is seeking happiness in a way that does not lead to happiness. Deludedness is the natural state. Non deludedness is rare and never spontaneous.
Attack can destroy a lot. We know that. But there is also a sector called "they can not take that away". How big is this sector?
Around the year 1195, the big Buddhist university at Nalanda in India was attacked and destroyed. The ruins remain to this day. Most books were destroyed. Many individuals were killed. But some survived by going to Tibet, and they brought some of the books.
So they could not take away the Buddhist philosophy, even if they destroyed the whole university.
The Buddhist institutions in Tibet have been under attack since around 1950, but the Buddhist ideas are distributed and accepted in more countries than before.

Non deludedness 2
Mind can be used in different ways. The last one hundred years or so, material issues have been prominent. A lot of great achievements have been made. Material problems have also been invented, as a lot of wars. They were destructive!
But mind is more than a mirror of a material reality. Mind is closer to reality than matter. Matter is of course part of reality, an important but limited reality. We see the proportions in space: small suns and planets move around in an enormous space. Mind is big as space, not small as planets.
Saying that mind is closer to reality means that a certain piece of matter can be seen in different ways by mind. Reality can be understood or interpreted in different ways by mind. Reality is not in a piece of matter, but in the understanding of that piece of matter, and in understanding everything else out there in cosmos and in here in the origin of life.
For mind the brain is the central organ in the body. Brain is fantastic, but it has an initial resistance to new ideas. We can transcend that resistance by learning and contemplation.
If we want to free mind from its occupation with material factors, we have to train the brain.

Deludedness 2
Is the future for man in mind manipulation or mind purification?
Man is deluded from birth, and it is easy to delude a person or a group of persons even more. Drugs can be distributed in the air or in the water or in many other ways. Ideas can be transferred subliminally.
There are many more ways. Should they be used? No.
If we start manipulating the mind of others we start a process that can not be reversed. We also get a responsibility we can not bear
If a small piece of the content in mind is manipulated, the whole content might be disturbed, and this disturbance is without explanation. We are disturbed every day, but these disturbances follow certain routines. Even natural catastrophes who comes as a surprise can be handled. But secret manipulation is something we are not prepared for neither in our genes or in our social upbringing.
Should we base a society on mind manipulation? No, the risks are too big.
Instead we should encourage purification of mind. A pure mind with full information is the best basis for a society.
