A world described as made up by interrelated forms and fields is different from the normal idea of the world as a material earth where people and material objects are governed by power structures.
One advantage of the form-field model is that all of us inhabitants in the world can express ourselves freely. In a power-based structure maybe only one person per nation (like Stalin or Mao) has full freedom. In a materially based society it is very heavy to express oneself - a big house, a big car and millions of objects are necessary. The earth is too small for all of us to have all this.
In a form-field world we can use anything as a form. It can be material objects, but also actions, words and even thoughts.
As human beings, our great quality is our ignorance. It is our potential for learning. If we seek truth by practical experiments, we are likely to hurt ourselves and others.
If we instead use words and thoughts, we can try out more ideas for less damage. And eventually we can find our ideals, and thus create the best combination of form and field.

Openness or secrecy?
Traditionally we have lived in natural lack of knowledge - the universe has been a mystery in general and in specifics. Now we approach a new phase in history, fast increased knowledge and great increase in the number of individuals with clear mind.
So we can make a choice between relying on secrecy or openness. Instinct would say: preserve some secrets. Rationality says: openness is best for all and for all times.
In a time of change - as the present one - we might need rules of transition. But the transition must be to openness.
Openness is the only guarantee for freedom. All evil powers in the world has thrived on lack of knowledge. Will new evil powers emerge? The threat is constant. The antidote is one: openness. Transparency, as it is called.
In the ordinary civil society, it is obvious that to avoid conflict and friction, we need openness about rules and obligations for all citizens.
The society is in development. During the process, the distribution of the good and the bad is a bit arbitrary. How to handle this and avoid unfairness and conflict? Openness is the only thing that works.

All aspects considered 2
To favor freedom before oppression is not a matter of political conviction but of scope of knowledge. The more we know the more we accept freedom.
Oppression can be based on raw violence. That is a very primitive situation.
Oppression can also be based on the idea of discipline - there must be some structure to avoid anarchy.
This situation is intermediary, between the most primitive oppression and the evolved stage of full knowledge and thus full freedom.
Freedom is complicated idea as it involves all citizens in a nation. Any minority which advocates violence is a problem.
Traditionally this was a problem that could not be solved. It was impossible to reach all citizens with a serious analysis and exchange of experiences and knowledge.
But it is not impossible any more. Thanks to better education, better media and Internet knowledge increases fast.
It is very good. It means that the politicians of tomorrow will rest on knowledge and ideals among their voters, and not on bias and promises of subsidies, tax reductions and the like.

Freedom
Freedom or not, we choose ourselves. So basically we are free, to make this choice.
Socially, freedom of others is not always appreciated. But existentially we should at least know the options.
The principle is that we do something, and this something does us. Sounds strange?
It is simple. Like this. We do something, say a child. This child makes us into something, which is parents.
Or if we take a negative example: someone steals something. The theft turns the person into something: a thief.
There is a giant jump. Becoming a parent is a big thing. Becoming a thief also seems to be a big thing.
If we want freedom, we should do things which reflects back to us as freedom.
If we give freedom to others, we get freedom in return.
Can we always give freedom? No not always on the external level. We might have to follow strict rules.
But internally, in our mind, in our intentions, we are free to do whatever we want. Some of us use this freedom to say bad words. That is not good. It does not give freedom.
