Better 2

Deceit, secrecy and violence might seem to be rational methods in a body-based world view. In the extreme form we see it in war fare strategy. In a disguised form we find it in many societies and many sub cultures.
In a mind-based world view however, the best methods are communication, openness, information and argument.
The body-based world view is the first one we find when we grow up. The mind-based view is not quite natural. It must be cultivated in order to be reached. But it can be reached by all.
Which is best? Well every individual must choose individually. It is no use saying that the mind-based view is better if no one tries to reach it.
There are some difficulties in seeking the mind-based view. One difficulty is self purification. Many stunts which are natural in the body-based view are quite sad in a mind-based view.
In a body based view we might think "I am not angry often. I am only angry when it is particularly justified". In a mind-based view, the principle is "When it seems and feels particularly justified to be angry, it is particularly good not to be angry".

Secret 2

The only reality is in the awareness...
Two people meet. On feel it was horrid, the other feels it was nice. Who is right? Both are right, as the reality is in the awareness.
If they would meet again and talk about their first meeting, they might change view. The awareness changes with communication and information about the reactions of others.
The active agent is information.
What about the patient, anesthetized and being operated on? How can he be better while being unaware? The doctors are aware of what they do.
The chaos in Iraq, is it caused by weapons or by unawareness? It was unawareness of awareness - those who wanted power did not know how much the others wanted power, what means they would use and what arguments they would use. As the awareness increases, the peace increases.
If information is so important, it might be tempting to use secrecy. But secrecy is nothing. It is wasted opportunity.

Unawareness 2

The world we live in is not the world but our own mind. If we lived in some kind of objective world we would have to deal with it in a certain way. Now we live in our own mind, so we have to deal with it in another way.
It is rather confusing, as the two images - objective world and mind - are imposed on each other.
The objective world seems to be there. If I look the other way and run into the table I might get hurt. The table is there. If I run into the table, it is decided by my mind. The table did not decide I should run into it.
I did not decide I should run into the table now. I did it earlier. I made something negative. When it matured long after, I ran into the table. The decision came from my mind. I could not avoid it. i was looking the other way. If I had not done that negative thing, I had not run into the table.
If we live in our mind, what should we relate to in order to avoid running into tables and other bad things?
The essential principle is to look for the good for others. Loving kindness.
So good so far. In the normal world confusion, challenge and distraction is the normal. How can we hold on to loving kindness when we are disturbed constantly?
We are parts of a complicated social interaction. If we treat others bad, the general situation will be bad. Do we have to treat others bad in order to get something not so bad? No, that is a mistake. Bad will always lead to bad.
Can we mistake good actions for bad? Yes, that is possible, in particular for surprises. If we regret a good action, the negative effects are very strong.
As always on mind level, communication and information is the way to avoid misunderstandings and problems. Secrecy is dangerous.
